What happens when the trial ends
Every article you saved stays in your vault as markdown — highlights, notes, tags and all — and stays readable in Grove. Saving new articles, extraction, and sync pause until you subscribe. Nothing is deleted, ever.
Why there's no free tier
Extraction, transcripts, and sync cost real money for every article saved. The free read-it-later apps — Pocket, Omnivore — are the ones that shut down and took their users' libraries with them. We'd rather charge a fair price and still be here in ten years. Your library is yours whether you pay or not.
