Chrome Extension

Clip articles from any webpage directly to your Grove queue.

Install

Download the Grove Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store (coming soon), or install manually from the GitHub repo.

Manual install (developer mode):

1. Download the latest `browser-extension.zip` from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/jmagnuss/grove/releases)

2. Unzip to a local folder

3. Open Chrome → `chrome://extensions` → Enable **Developer mode**

4. Click **Load unpacked** → select the unzipped folder

Click the Grove icon in your Chrome toolbar. You'll see a login form — enter your Grove email and password. The extension will automatically generate a secure API token and store it locally.

You only need to log in once. Your session persists until you explicitly sign out.

Clip an Article

Navigate to any article you want to save, then click the Grove toolbar icon. The extension will clip the page and add it to your queue. You'll see a confirmation when it's saved.

You can also clip from the right-click context menu: Right-click → Save to Grove.

Already Saved Badge

If you revisit a page you've already saved, the Grove icon shows a green badge so you know it's already in your queue.
